A note to flood rescue workers

Everyone (or at least large majority of people) loves their child. In all cases, parents are willing to sacrifice almost anything for the sake of their beloved child.  But when they fly in an airplane, the stewardess would announced that when the cabin pressure is low, oxygen mask will pop out from its place and passengers with kids are advice to fasten the mask to themselves before attending their children. What’s the logic behind it? We normally give priorities for our little ones aren’t we?

Yesterday, when I was reading about safety fact sheets published by OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) of the USA, I came across a factsheet that describes the precautionary measures to be taken by flood rescue workers. Why are such things important? The answer is easy. Rescue workers are valuable people! They simply need to stay healthy so that they can do more rescue works. For my dear friends that are involved in helping people in Segamat, Muar, Batu Pahat and other places in Johor, please read the fact sheet attached here. May God bless you for your good works, protect you from unwanted hazards and strengthen you so that you can help more people. God bless us all…
